English is only a tool of communication, but it is the language used globally, and the ability to speak the global language fluently is considered a strength that widens a child’s horizons in the future and enhances the quality of life. A newborn baby is said to be able to listen to various languages. By being exposed to plenty of authentic English from an early age, the child will develop a good command of English with beautiful pronunciation.
英語圏のマナーの基本は、「PとQに気を付ける」ですが、このフレーズには、「マナーに気を付ける」、「言葉に気を付ける」、「自分の取る行動に気を付ける」等の意味合いが込められています。Psの意味は
“pleases”, Qsの意味は”thank you”の略として使われます。それに”I am sorry”を加えたマジックワードを始め、集団生活に必要不可欠なマナーと自立心を学びます。
The English idiom` mind your Ps and Qs` means mind your manners, mind your language, be on your best behavior, or be careful about the details. In short, always remember to say please and thank you. By adding the phrase, `I am sorry`, making them the magic words, children are taught the basic mannerisms and independence required to live in the community.
当スクールは、お友達との会話も英語でトライするよう徹底しています。
言語は耳を鍛え、沢山の言葉を聞いても、実際に口から出して会話をしなければ身につきません。一見厳しいルールに見えますが吸収の早いこの時期の子どもは、すぐに慣れ、身振り手振りを交えながらコミュニケーションを取り始めます。また、講師による誘導・導きから「自分の言いたいことが伝わった！」という小さな成功体験で少しずつ自信をつけ、その自信がスキルアップに繋がります。
We require students to try to speak English even when they are talking to their friends. Even if their ears are trained to listen to English, unless they use the language by speaking it, they will not achieve the language skills. The rule may appear harsh at first glance, but children soon get used to the new environment, and using gestures, they start communicating in English. Furthermore, with their tutor’s guidance and leadership, they experience the joy of being able to say what they want to say in English and improve their language skills.
暗記や択読式ばかりのレッスンでは、子どもはすぐに飽き、英語嫌いになってしまいます。実際に触ったり、試したり、観察したり、探求する中から自分の世界を築いて行きます。楽しく遊ぶ環境の中にどれだけ自然に学びの要素を取り込んでいくかが重要になります。
当スクールでは、サークルタイム、Music（音楽）、Craft （工作）、Math(s)（算数）、Show and Tell （発表）などのアクティビティーにその学びの要素を上手く取り込んでレッスンを行っています。
Lessons on memorization and selective reading bore children, and they may grow to dislike learning English language. Children must feel, try out, observe and explore to build their own world. It crucial to introduce the learning process naturally while playing. Here, we incorporate learning elements in Circle Time, Music, Craft, Math(s) and Show and Tell.
